Project Case: Large‑Volume Supply of High‑Strength Hot‑Dip Galvanized Fasteners for Southeast Asian Steel‑Structure Warehouse Complex

Published on: 2026-10-13

Ningbo Liangmao Standard Parts Co.,Ltd has recently successfully completed a large‑volume export order for high‑strength bolt‑nut‑washer assemblies, serving a large‑scale steel‑structure warehouse complex construction project in Southeast Asia. This project covers multiple connected storage buildings and places high demands on fastener safety and anti‑rust performance under tropical high‑temperature and high‑humidity climate conditions.

The overseas client is a local well‑known steel‑structure engineering contractor. Before formal order placement, they carried out strict supplier qualification audit, reviewing our factory production equipment, quality‑control system, past similar‑project references and lab‑testing capacity. The project specified grade 8.8 and 10.9 hex bolts and matched heavy‑duty nuts and flat washers, with hot‑dip‑galvanized surface finish to resist coastal atmospheric corrosion. The buyer required full material test reports, heat‑treatment records and batch inspection certificates for the whole shipment.

Our technical team held multiple rounds of technical communication with the client’s engineering department. We confirmed detailed drawing parameters, material grade selection, coating technical indicators, sampling‑test standards and document‑delivery requirements. Before mass production started, we manufactured pre‑production samples and sent them overseas for client laboratory verification. After sample performance fully satisfied project specifications, we officially launched batch manufacturing.

During the production cycle, our QC team implemented multi‑stage inspections: raw‑material incoming chemical composition check, intermediate dimensional inspection after cold heading and thread rolling, hardness testing after heat treatment, coating‑thickness measurement after hot‑dip galvanizing, and final‑lot tensile and salt‑spray sampling tests. All non‑conforming products were screened and eliminated before packaging.

Considering long‑distance ocean transportation and local humid storage environment, we adopted export‑grade moisture‑proof and rust‑proof packaging solutions. Goods were classified by specification, packed into reinforced cartons with desiccant, with clear specification‑marking labels on each package.

The full container shipment departed from Chinese port and arrived at destination port on pre‑agreed schedule. After receiving goods, the client inspected cargo appearance and spot‑checked partial batches. They expressed high satisfaction with product quality, supporting technical documents and our project‑oriented communication efficiency. This successful delivery lays solid foundations for follow‑up repeated orders for their subsequent infrastructure‑construction projects.
